Incredibly the evidence found at Lismore Fields points to a staggering story. It appears that people were clearing some inconvenient things out of the way - like forests, in order make a few changes !

This demonstration of conscious thought turned into large scale design, whilst a bit crude, points to a determination to impact upon the landscape and alter it to fit future plans.
